Heart and S(e)oul
Hello, my stylish friends! Does anyone else missing dressing up? I sure do! I love ease of rolling out of bed in my pajamas to then throw on a pair of leggings or sweatpants. Nevertheless, meticulous about my appearance, I feel at my best after carefully putting together my look and makeup for the day. I describe my style as a bit eclectic, where I tend to mix and match eye-catching combinations. The antithesis of today’s minimalistic fashion, bright and bold accessories steal my heart; hence I chose the title “Sucker for Statement Accessories” for this blog post! Pulling these photos from the archive, I remember how much I love to wear statement jewelry–rare for me nowadays as I continue remote classes.
Pictured below is me swearing a New York & Company pearl bib necklace and my mom’s turquoise bracelets. I have found memories of looking at mom’s and grandma’s jewelry collection, where they both would explain the history of each piece–some of which are passed down from my great-grandmother or previous generations. I easily lose track of time by spending hours looking at wearable eye-candy!
It seems as if remote events will prevail well into 2021, but now more than ever, I yearn to dress up–even if nowhere to go!
With style,
Sarah
