Heart and S(e)oul
Hello, my stylish friends! While I love New York City, I don’t always know what to wear when it’s 90 degrees, and 90% humidity … terrible. (yes, I know I’m making this post in December – better late than never!)
I learned that sweating in the subway is inevitable, so I might as well dress accordingly. I usually mix, match, and rotate through a few key items that keep me comfortable from June to early September.
I don’t always like to expose my broad shoulders, so I love long-sleeve rompers that cover my top half, while leaving my legs free and cooled off. Red romper? Yes, please.
Another piece that, can be modest and appropriate for any occassion, while keeping me cooled off with the ease and movement of the skirt. Another plus: having a pleated skirt in a gold color.
The beauty of a capsule wardrobe piece is the ability to dress it up and down, all year long. My favorite outfit to wear with a simple, black tank is white pants, along with open-toed heels.
