Violet Ray NY’s Mini Logan Satchel

Pearls, Pastels, and Prints with the Rose Gold Accessory

My family makes fun at me for always having a wallet or purse – a necessity for holding my phone and keys and, what appears to be, a hoarder’s collection of miscellaneous findings like makeup and cards! I hate to lug around bulk, but I feel lost without these items that I use throughout the day! Having to carry so many miniature items, I keep an eye out for handbags that come with utility features for easy organization. Most days, I wear wallets over large purses because of the built-in card holders and smaller shapes.

However, Violet Ray NY’s Mini Logan Satchel made me reconsider my preferences in handbags! This city gem neither weighs my arm down nor drowns my petite frame, yet the accessory is still capable of holding what I need. The three compartments present options as to how I can decide to separate my makeup from my cards. The versatile accessory is perfect for both casual and formal occasions, in which the removable/adjustable straps easily transform the accessory from a day bag to an evening pouch. The eye gravitates toward the zipper’s spunky tassels, and the feminine rose gold color is cohesive with bright color and neutrals.

Prints and pastels have consumed my wardrobe for summer ‘19. I paired the Mini Logan Satchel with a robin blue top and my favorite leopard heels from Target and paisley shorts from Old Navy. On that day, I wanted to style a dainty and feminine look fit for going to brunch or morning festivities. For this outfit, I drew inspiration from fashion blogger Krystin Lee and her romantic style. I considered adding thin bracelets or chunky rings before stepping back to realize that the embellishments on my top were enough to add a “pop” to the outfit.

I look forward to my personal style flourishing over time! What pieces have changed you?

With style,

Sarah
