NYFW 2020
Hello, my stylish friends! To be honest, I am struggling to adjust to life at home. I took for granted the small joys, like hanging out with friends and socializing in public gatherings. I wore this outfit back in February for Fashion Week – how much I miss New York City!
I felt a bohemian-meets-city aesthetic and paired my purple pleated dress with tights and a cozy leather jacket. I remember consistent wind and muggy air on this particular day. Layers were essential for walking around SoHo all day. I would wear similar outfits to class at the University of Delaware. Some of my classes are like freezers, whereas others are so. incredibly. warm.
For my petite pals out there, a snug jackets adds flattering definition to cinch in the waist. I love this dress but prefer to avoid drawing the eye to my broad shoulders.
