Hello, my stylish friends! Recently, someone at the Fashion Scholarship Fund reached out to me to submit a brief video touching on advice and/or best practices for this year’s case study challenge. I’m so excited for this year’s applicants; one of my favorite organizations, the FSF truly stems students’ careers in fashion by challenging us with tedious yet rewarding opportunities that test students’ skills and business acumen.
Having won across the analytics (placed as a top-8 finalist in 2020) as well as the merchant (recognized as a 2022 scholar recipient) disciplines, I reflect back to my thought processes and what starting points I leveraged for crafting a business method. Below, my video touches on how I navigated through the ambiguity, which I think could apply broadly across the disciplines offered.
