I usually rotate—i.e., dress up and down—the same key pieces and accessories. Call me boring, but I prefer staple apparel and jewelry that looks timeless, instead of trendy.

shimmery dress
Without a doubt, this makes my top-three. I wear this dress, probably far too many times. I love this dress for how it feels dressy, without being stiff.

In fifth grade, I remember overloading my outfits with chunky jewelry: guess some things don’t change over the years.
Brown leather jacket
No shame that I’ve had this jacket since high school: another one of my top-three favorite pieces of all time. I toned down this hot pink dress with a neutral jacket that has sustained lots of wear and tear.
