Looking through my old look books, I stumbled across these photos from my seventies-inspired outfits. No particular or special occasion, I just wanted to dress up for fun! I remember picking out fun color combinations to brighten my look. Before stepping outside, I decided that my outfit would not be complete without a giant splash of orange. Growing up, my favorite color was orange. I had an orange bedroom, countless orange tee shirts, and orange stuffed animals. Obsessed, much?
I’m not sure why I loved orange, but I assume that younger me was drawn to its zest and spunk. Funny enough how nowadays, I prefer to wear mostly neutrals. This blast from the past post reminds me to step out of my comfort zones and sport a color (or two).
