Hello, my stylish friends! I don’t know about you, but I hate spending a lot of time on my hair. I love spending more time with makeup (i.e., eye shadow and eyeliner!); with hair, I’m not sure what it is, but I prefer to put minimal effort in playing with my strands. The messy bun, especially for summer for when I don’t want my hair sticking to my neck, is my go-to hairstyle nearly 80% of the time.
Easy and convenient, I spend roughly 3-4 minutes brushing my hair to then hold it with my hands in a pony-tail before wrapping it around in a circular motion. One, thick hair tie usually does the trick for me, even with my super-thick hair. I then pin my baby hairs towards the back of my head with one or two bobby pins. If heading into a professional video call, I use hairspray if I have fly-away strands; if otherwise, I leave my hair as-is without hairspray.
. . . and done! To be honest, besides French braids/plaits and half-up/half-down, I don’t usually do much else with my hair besides a messy bun!
