Heart and S(e)oul
I’m small but dream big. Standing only at 4’11”, I use fashion to stand out, since I can never stand as high as others. Naturally, I gravitate towards high heels: what empower me to find my voice and stand up for what I’m passionate towards.
I know that I’m (literally) overlooked. Even more comical, I have family who stand at 6′ and above. While funny for the eyes of the beholder, my lack of height teaches me to notice what people often overlook, where I offer a new perspective and always examine something from multiple angles. Moreover, I’ve learned to find novel ways to be noticed, since I’ll likely never be seen at first; in other words, I use fashion as an outlet to celebrate individuality and stand out for what I bring to the table.
Given this, I show up in high heels that represent, yes, self-deprecating short jokes, but more so my sky-high ambition and passion for the one thing that gives me freedom to choose courage over certainty.
With heart and s(e)oul 💗👠
